The fiber optic connection

The Silica Networks existing fiber (yellow line) in the region of Mendoza - San Rafael - Santiago.

The Observatory will be connected by new fiber to the place called Válvula 9.

The site of the Observatory is indicated by a black line

The optical fiber (about 200 km long) was ordered by Silica Networks

to the Chinese firm "Wuhan Fiberhome International Technologies Co. Ltd".
